Mods so far: Full suspension, BJ stage 3 head, ROSS 8.5:1, Crower rods, knife edged stock crank, stock port and polish intake and stock TB...ect.

After debating between a Garrett and a Green for reasons which aren't important, and after talking to a number of people I decided to go with a T3/T4 50 trim with a stage 3 wheel and a .63 a/r turbine housing. I ordered it from AGP with the package they're offering on their homepage. The picture below being what the setup basically includes. I especially like the design of the SFP exhaust manifold with the wastegate having it's own runner.
What I still need is fuel management, which I plan to go with the AEM EMS, a clutch which will probably be ACT2600lbs. with a street disc, and camshafts.
What I'm looking to know is what you recommend in terms of Cam grind. Is it going to be worth it more for me to get 272 on the intake side, or 264? Also where is the cheapest place to get all of these, including the cams, clutch, FPR and 7xx injectors?

Read again. Under my mods I have a stage 3 head from BJ's Cylinder Head Service. Street and strip porting. I could get into specifics, but I don't remember off the top of my head... Bowl and Chamber...ect...

Get the 272/272 combo. They will make the most power in the RPM range that your turbo will opperate. BTW I don't think you'll need a FPR.

when did the GVR4 have heads? I thought it only had one head? jk, I bought my AEM EMS from coximports for 1350 shipped. and I would say the 272/272 cams, there are two guys around here with 2g GSTs one is a 95 and ones a 99, the 95 made less power in the mid range and less up top with a Hann super 20g and 264/272 cams, and the 99 made 337whp pump gas, 19psi 15deg timing of so, he had 272 272 cams and made more midrange and top end power, both dyno in 4th gear. but the 272ic doesnt cost anymore then the 264ic and might as well let as much air in and out as you can, and get rid of the intake manifold(IE read 1g flow #s thread in extreme tuners forum) that will tell you that porting the stock intak man flow only a little more down low, but still restricts a lot on top,
Stock head with a stock intake. No T.B. with a ¾” radius entry. #3 intake runner. You can see not only does the stock intake kill the upper lift flow like everyone knew, but it hurts low lift flow as well.

Kevin, Do you work for AGP?

I live in Orange County. 5 minutes from Middletown if you've heard of it. We have a car club type meet there every friday night if you're interested. Got a couple months before it's racing season however.

wow thats the same exact turbo setup i was looking at getting. Kevin replied very quickly to my emails and the only reason i havent ordered the setup yet is because i am about to pull my head and replace the gasket and studs and i dont want to spend any more money until i find out if anything in the motor is damaged more than i think. Hopefully not because i seriously want to get this thing running good.
