I have a walbro 190. I should have gotten a 255 but i didnt. The way the 190 was installed so many things were broken that i doubt i can upgrade it and still make the tank seal. I was sloshing gas all over the place so i put a screw in it to fix it.

Anyhow, will a 190 be good enough for a 20G or Green? I hear all kinds of horsepower numbers that its supposedly good for, from 300 to 450. i just need to know if it'll handle the size turbo i want.

thanks

chris

Yes.. I just post something like this 6 day ago. Great minds think alike.
You may need to rewire the pump for a bigger turbo thou. What I've been told is that you can run into mid 11's

On a denso 190 I went 118.97 mph so far on 550's...Im going 720's now, I maxed out 550's far before my rewired fuel pump running 43 base psi fuel pressure. a 190 with 660cc or larger injectors will trap over 112 mph on pump gas easily enough.

So you maxed out the 550's at just 118mph? I think i will have to totally rethink my planned fuel setup...Im not looking forward to re-doing the pump though. And i may need to buy a new gas tank.
