Very Cool Larry! Do you mind if I ask who did your head work and around how much it cost. I have a 1G head sitting on my workbench waiting for work to be done to it, but I have no idea who to send it to.

if you are in the CT area, check out Pruven Performance. The guys up there are real great bunch of guys and if you called to ask them where they go, I am sure they would have a couple places for you, not to mention who NOT to go to, which is just as important.

I went to Pruven when they first opened. They great to talk to. I would like to go there but I want to know what kind of pricing I'm going to be looking at for work. I'm kinda on a budget.

For a inspect/tank/pressure test/level/3 angle valve job... expect anywhere from $200-350. Usually if you need valve stem seals (or other parts) and you have them in hand, they will install for free. Port work ranges from your basic port job of $200 all the way up to hardcore porting running you $1000.

larry, just make Sure you ziptie, or seal those caps..... some see pressure, as well As vacuum, and you Can lose 'em.

looks bad-ass, though!!

goood And clean!

Good luck man. It looks like it's going to be a beast. Hopefully mine will look as good as yours in a year.

a local shop did the work for me actually.. it was 400 for port matching the intake ports to a 1g IM and porting the turbo and exhaust manifold collector to 7cm. That also included a valve job, installing the new springs and retainers..

im gonna try and get something on there.. there isnt much room between the caps to squeeze anything in there and they are pretty tight on there so they should be fine but ill remember to try and put zip ties and hope it works :)

Larry if you look around in napa they have really small zip ties that work perfect. Trust me you WILL blow them all off very quick without ties. It always seems to happen at the worst time too, like when you're racing your neighbors Fbody :|
