what turbo would you buy if you had $850 to spend?

91 talon awd 550cc, 255 intank pump, 2 1/2 downpipe back exhaust no cat, conquest fmic, afc, tubular o2 housing with external dump.

thinking about big 20g td06, or td05-t04e

any other turbos i should be looking at?

TD05 20G with a 23degree clip.

You can get a 18 or 20g from turbotrix or you can get a ported and clipped big 16g from RRE it all depends on what kinda performance you want. For the power get the 20g, but for all around performance get a big 16g.

why not the td05-to4e isn't it bigger than a tdo5 20g?

Hybrids generally have a need for a custom manifold. Think "extra 500,or so bucks)

Because the BR 20g works. It has been proven time and time again. I am not a fan of mutt turbos but if you want a hybrid then go with a FP green(again its a proven performer). But you wont find one for $850. Remeber there is aloy more to turbos then just well this one is bigger.

well i decided to go with the td05-t04e
i found one at mjmturbos.com for $850 ported to hell.
as far as mutt turbos go i have always done mutt turbos in all my other cars (300zxtt, vw corrado) just want to know if they are any draw back becides lag in the awd dsms.
