The only problem I see with this core, is that since my manifold is spaced I may have fitment problems with something this wide. Anyone want to comment on the fitment of a rad this huge. I have slims, and they just barely clear the IC piping that runs from the turbo to the intercooler? ken has the best deal in town, since i am a intercooler customer. however i just want some input if a monster rad like this will have clearence issues?
 
In my 2G I used the stock fans on a Fluidyne. I had to hack the fans with a Moto-tool to clear the J-pipe from the turbo then had to raise the top brackets with some spacers for them to fit properly. You might have better luck than me with the slims. It was a pain, I wish I spent the extra $100 for the a C&R that came with slims.
 
C&R is a rip off!!! Our radiators are made w/ the same cores... fans are optional.. & are welded by better welders than C&R. We have them made by a local racing radiator shop... that is in direct competition w/ C&R... some of their employees are formerly from C&R. C&R tries to say that our products are ****.. when we use the exact same core that they do (which are not Visteon by the way). Don't get me started on C&R!!!
We also move the 1g inlet to the 2g location to make them even more efficient. C&R rads are $500 for mitsus w/ one 13" fan. Our are $325 ($300 if you're a former FMIC customer) & the fan is $140 for the 13" high flow (we can also make them for stock fan mounts). We make rads for 1g, 2g, GVR4, & hondas. Also our radiators are slightly shortened to make FMIC fitment a little easier (if you have a 1g w/ fluidyne you know exactly what I'm talking about). On the Spoolinup radiators... you will have major fitment issues w/ larger turbos.. esp if they are spaced out. We prototyped a radiator exactly like theirs a year ago & it wasn't going to work w/ anything larger than a 16g. We decided that the people that would benefit most out of a radiator like this wouldn't even be able to use it... so there was no point in even making it. So currently I think that we have the best design out on the market for the best price. If you have any questions.. feel free to ask.
 
thanks for clearing that up ken, i have spoken to you in the past about you're radiator. my only concern was i plan to keep working A/C in my car and wanted to get the best cooling system possible. with the stock rad, and slim fans the piping is very tight. so im sure a thicker rad with fans will be almost if not impossible, because of the way my turbo is installed (manifold spaced .500) i will contact you the next time i see you online.
 
Sorry didn't know C&R was a touchy subject. Ken the link in your profile for Indy didn't work, is it correct? I'm interested in checking out your products since I'm also looking for stuff to build up my 95 with. Thanks.
 
My C&R was $405 w/ the slimline fan, welds look more than excellent, fitment is fine w/ the Green and piping, and I feel it is a higher quality piece than fluidyne.
