New BOV Noise

Just installed a new intake pipe today. Ebay style ftw. Questions arise after the first test drive. I notice I hear alot more air being sucked in but when I build up some boost and left off the gas and wait to hear that great sound I kind of get a weird WOOOOSH. I am running the stock 2g bov at the moment till friday when I instally my new uicp and 1g bov. Is this new blow off sound just because of the intake. It's nowhere like the sound when it was that old snorkel pipe for an intake.

Yes, it's because of the intake. Rather than the sound of the BOV hitting, absorbing into rubber, it hits metal which makes it louder.

I wouldnt say its just louder but a totally different tone as well.
