Leak out of power steering pump shaft...is there a fix?

Seems like all the other leaks people have had are out of the hose connections (banjo) or the rack etc. My pump is leaking right out of the pulley shaft...while sitting still!

I was hoping for an easy O-ring fix like on the banjo fitting rather than replacement of the pump. So, is there an easy fix or is it pump replacement time?



PS I reviewed all the threads that came up with "power steering leak" in the titles and none deal with the shaft of the pump leaking

just replace the pump, it's not worth the hassle to pull it apart and try and fixing it. Get another one slap it on, and then take apart the one you have now and enlighten us on the guts of a PS pump

Thats pretty much what I was thinking...but ya never know if there might be a better way
I do have a PS pulley remover on the shelf I've never used yet...might just get a chance.
