Evo Mr, radiator for me..

Hey all. I found some one parting out there EVO MR engine...

Whats everything I can get from that motor and put it on mine..??

I wanted the Turbo, Exh. Mani, 02 housing, and most of all the radiator.

Please someone help me out.

The motor is backwards compaired to a 2g. The exhaust manifold and O2 housing are going to be no good to you. The turbo spins backwards as well. You can make it fit, but it's not going to be a simple bolt on affair. I don't know the dementions of radiator, but I do know that even the inlet and outlets are on the wrong side.

The turbo mani & turbo wont work but the injectors, maf, BOV will.

Why wont the exhaust manifold fit on my 2g ?

The EVO VIII mas will work for shure , its better than the 2g mas if the MR mas is the same it will work. If the EVO manifold fit it would put the inlet of the turbo right by your ps pump & alternator so you would have to relocate them and a custom down pipe would have to be made to go where the o2 housing would be on the passenger side. A few people have used the EVO VIII & IX turbos but with custom tubular manifolds and custom down pipe & IC pipes. It will end up costing a lot and and you will have to re do everyhing to upgrade in the future, its not worth all that work for a 16g.

MAS will not just bolt on and work. You're going to need some kind of fuel computer, preferably dsmlink, to control it as it reads about 30% more air than a standard 2g MAS. Just like 1g's need at least an AFC to make a 2g mas work, same concept here.

The EVO MAS worked great for me. I could not have done it without DSMLink.
The EVO MAS is not a upgrade unless you are over running your 2G MAS. I am willing to bet pretty much whatever you are not doing that. The 2G MAS will read up to around 52 lbs/min.
I would take the EVO MAS and sell it for about 125 though. Make sure to snip the wireharness pigtail comming of it. Leave a foot of wire if you can.
