im going to buy one, and they look to me like a damn nice manifold, a nice cast strong manifold it may crack over time maybe but i think a tubular would crack before this one. hows the flow on them? looks like it should flow plenty! so my question is who has this manifold or who has run it? any inputs are welcome good or bad, thanks in advance tuners!.

tubulars crack alot more than a cast. Especially ebay ones. I have read up on that manifold, becuase it looks and performs like the stock one but im sure with more reliability. Turbonetics/SBR doesnt really chinse out on their production, so I dont think this manifold will be junk. good luck man.

If you do a search on here of Turbonetics you'll get some good info on the mani. Haven't heard anyone complaining about them cracking but the casting isn't 100% so it will take some clean up work in the collector & runner inlets to get everything to line up properly. If your looking for a cheeper mani, Treadstone has a version that looks exactly the same as the T'netics (& also requires the clean up ;) ) but comes in at about half the price. There are a few guys running that on here if you search & when I looked into them, they had a good warranty as well.

The treadstone version sucks. Nothing lines up and fitment is horrible. Ask TimG...
I ran this manifold and I loved it for T3 and a street car. Here are some pics of it on my car:

I found that I had more room with this manifold then with my stock 2G mani. If I would not have decided to go T4 I would have kept using this mani., now it just sits in a box and needs a new home. Iliked it so much when it was new I bought a few and I still have them.

I have ran an earlier version of this manifold (around 6 years ago). The WG location didn't allow it to clear 1G hood, so I had to use another adaptor to relocate it. But supposedly it fit just fine on a 2G.

This is what it looked like before I tried closing the hood:

Like I said the Treadstone wasn't perfect but I don't believe Tim had any real issues with it, just some porting. Everyone that I know who installed the Tnetics mani also had to do the same amount of porting as it didn't line up properly either. Did you have better luck with yours?

Yha, I dont know. I am most likely biaest. I based that on the thread I saw with the mani Tim had. It looked pretty rough/off. I am sure it was a great fit when he was done prepairing it. I have never compared them side by side. The T-netics one is not perfect eiather, but it seemed better than the Treadstone one in the how to thead.

Ya, Tim did have to do a good amout of porting but I think with a little work it fit great for him. I do know 2 other locals that ran the Tnetics mani a few years back (DSMJim & forget the others user name) & I believe they both did write ups on here with it & they had the same issues that Tim had with needing alot of work to get the ports to line up properly & the collector area. I think the Treadstone is basically a complete/exact copy of the Tnetics & why they both have the same fitment issues. Either way, they both can be made to fit properly & have never heard of cracking issues on either, so they should both be a good choice :thumb:

well im aiming for a low 10 sec high 9 setup. going with a t3/t67 setup, and i found a manifold for 250 shipped and used but still i dont think i can pass this up.

YOU have a pm sir. :thumb:

I like my tredston manifold. Other then some porting of the runners, collector and wastegate hole (okay, everything had to be ported), it has worked great. 11.60@121MPH with the small HX-35 compressor housing. Nothing wrong with it and it has a HUGE turbo and downpipe hanging off it.
