Ever since I got my new intake installed(my only aftermarket mod), car is getting really hot meaning im running lean, is there anyway to alter that without spending 300 bucks for a S-AFC?

You could buy an afpr and up the fuel pressure a little.

I have a hard time believing that your car is getting hot from just adding an intake. Are you sure you didn't leave your MAF unpluged or anything like that? Just adding an intake will not make your car run lean enough to cause heat problems. Do not try and make a band-aid solution like adding more fuel because the intake is not the problem.

That intake added 10hp to your car with 200. That a pretty small number and considering your car is turbo from the factory its designed to handle fueling for that small amount of extra HP.

if all you have is an intake and you are running lean, you have other problems. can you hear any pinging? is your water pump bad
(causing the engine to get hot)? is your fuel filter clogged?

an intake have VERY little impact on your a/f ratio. you say "my only aftermarket mod," have you done free mods then or is that all?

Yeah, I'd double check to make sure that your new intake isn't leaking. Under vacuum, that'd cause it to run hot and lean.

I agree with everybody else too, there's some other problem, the intake itself wouldn't cause it to run lean, unless it was installed incorrectly.

Well I was having a small oil leak through the valve seal cover, but that was fixed today, I got the 3" dejon with just the bov return and the one other pipe connection, so the other two tubes are just there. Me and my dad installed it, and only after alot of manhandling did the MAS slide onto the new pipe, but after the installation we couldnt hear any leaks, and it ran fine. Damn just need a Austin DSM meet to happen, so other people can see it, hard to explain, Oh and my waterpump was replaced with my headgasket, along with all my other belts

I also apologize for the random jumping in my post and the pointless commas... im hella tired heh
