Need Block!

ok i need some help here, i had my Timing belt changed, and they guy performed a compression check.... and it was very low for some reason in one cylinder and low in others. like 2 months ago my compression was about 150 across the board and now its at like 100-120 whats goin on? i have a 91 tsi awd with 90k original miles on it. never been redlined or beaten on. He also recomended/suggested its in my head since i have little miles on the motor. could it be or what? im doing a leak down test tomorrow so wish me luck. but if worst comes to worst were can i get a used block or does anyone know were the JDM Cylcone motors are? please help!!!

If you are having issues with your motor. Send the block out to be rebuilt. A competent shop should be able to do a 91 rod 95 piston motor for less than 1500. As for the head I wouldn’t recommend headwork unless you had HUGE goals in mind. Just get the head milled, get a metal headgasket, and some ARP head studs and you should be set. Isnt Pruven performance in your area?

ya it should be in your area its in Milford,CT i dont kno how far it is from where u live but ur state is small so u shouldnt have a problem gettin there
