ok well i was going to follow larryd with his set up but i've allways wanted a awd.. well last week i got me a 90 talon tsi awd ok the engine has 170k on it and the # 3 rod needs to be replaced i bought the car for 675 bucks.. so im going to do all my performance mods to it and do some body mods and some tuning to the eclipse.

what all should i look for should i put the stock stuff back in or upgrade the internals. i know im going to put the LR2 on it just wondering if i should use oem rods or eagle or crower. and what other things should i get into and check out on the car.. the body is awsome it was painted last year. just give me some ideas on the engine so i can get the most out of the car and don't have to tear it all down again

you can try 90 rods and 95 pistons thats always a good set up for a good price.

first off i have a 96 gst so i know a good amount .. i was just asking what people would think would work the best. im looking at the most 4 grand on internals.. i just want to make sure they will hold up.. im talking to a guy on my tranny and beffin it up.. but as of right now im looking at the lr2 with a 50-75 shot and the intercoooler..3.5" exhaust and so on. i havent gone into doing so much on a dsm but i didn't feel the need to waste it on a fwd when i could go so much faster on a awd i had a big16g on my gst and it was fast from a roll on but just spun too damn much

91+ rods,95 pistons,Mitsu metal hg, full arp bolts.. blah blaH BLAH and the most important thing I almost forgot $$$$$$
