First off, I searched and found basically nothing on this topic. I need to know a couple things, and am hoping that someone on here has worked with the Ford TB.

I bought a Ford 75mm TB for my 2G Eclipse GSX Project. Unfortunately, it came with the IAC Valve blocked off. This raises worries for me, as I don't want to have to worry about cold start issues and the like.

To top things off, I saw on DSMTrader that a guy has a 75mm TB for sale that comes with the IAC, and it looks to be wired for a DSM, which I'm guessing is the case.

Now on to the question. I looked at Accufab's website, and they sell a Chevy IAC Adapter for the Ford TB. After careful inspection of the pictures in the guy's ad on Trader, I believe that that's exactly what he has. So... when I go to mount an IAC, do I need to buy the Adapter Plate and install a Chevy IAC? If so, how is it wired? Is it even possible to get away with having an IAC on a Ford TB?

Please help me out here, this has got me slightly worried. I'm putting a LOT of money into this motor, and want no issues whatsoever. Thanks in advance.

Anyone? I could really use help on this, and I know someone on here has had experience with it.

I'm also looking into Idle air control on a 75mm ford TB setup with an AEM EMS is it necessary to use the Jackson IAC setup?

with AEM there is an option to just use the ford IAC readings. unfortunately this is not the case for everyone that doesn't have AEM.

to answer batman's question, a friend of mine has just come up with a 1g/2g to mustang tb ISC adapter plate. this allows you to bolt your factory ISC up to a ford throttle body, no extra wiring or headache. i posted pics in the other thread, this would probably be your easiest solution
