Distance between fmic and p. steering lines

Hey guys in the process of putting a fmic on my 2g. Was fabing up some brackets for the bottom. Was wondering everyone's opinion on how far to space the ic from the steering lines. Is there a certain distance? Or just make sure they're not touching? Replys will be appreciated.

As long as they're not touching you should be fine. Just tuck the loop behind the rad suport bracket

If I tuck the loop behind it will touch the ac condenser. Has anyone ever heat wrapped them? Does that work very well?

Just adjust the brackets that the loop is attached to. It won't touch the condesner

I just cut up a cloth and wrapped the lines, then zip tied the piece of cloth so it would stay. Ghetto? Yes. Does it work? Yes.

No one can see it so who cares. .
