Will my car be OK if I install thermal cat back, upper IC pipes, and BOV before I get a boost controller? My boost controller will not make it here for christmas but all of the other stuff I am getting on christmas and would like to install christmas day. What should I do wait for the boost controller or install everything?

Yes I Have a boost guage. I am just really excited to be getting all of this stuff but like the wiseman (rdrkt) said I don't want to ruin my Xmas. I think I am just going to do the cat back (assuming I can get the damn thing off) to be safe for now.

Why does it matter? Boost controllers don't limit boost, they just let you run more. If its going to creep, its going to creep... weither you have a boost controller or not.
If its going to creep, your wastegate needs to be ported (or housing), PERIOD. A boost controller isn't going to change that.

i'm pretty sure that's right. A MBC isn't gonna stop you from creeping. But were talking about spiking, not creep. It will stop you from spiking, which you will have since your installing new ic pipes.

Well, if spiking is a problem, just bypass the BCS (or whatever you guys call your electronic stock controller) and run the system on your wastegate spring only... You'll have to forgive me, as i only know 1g's well.. but if you pull the BCS and run the wastegate striaght to a boost source, you get 6psi, the wastegate spring pressure.
ummm...boost controller can make the boost lower than stock...
Let me re-phrase, a boost controller cant make the boost lower than the wastegate spring. In most cars, this is the stock boost level.
