blitz bov.. definetly a nice piece of work....

if you can find a way to recirculate it or run something other than the stock mas.
 
i agree. the greddy type-s is what i am running and it is great.
 
we have Greddy type S... we like it so far... Had HKS before loud whooos sound but doesn't perform good as Type S and also had a 1g BOV. 1g bov actually has a capability of holding 18 lbs of boost! amazing huh??? More feedback and be more technical about the topic. Explain why you like your BOV. something like that

Actually you wouldn't take the square root of the Apexi, instead you would divide the value of the Apexi by the sum of all the vented to atmosphere greddy bov's that cause stalling, then add that quotient to the XS RFL, making them both fall somethere between the blitz and the Greddy.

This yields:

HKS = Tial > Blitz > (Apexi/((sum of all)Vented Greddy)) + XS RFL > Greddy > 1G BOV

Which makes no sense whatsoever.
 
When it comes to performance, the Tial BOV (in combination with VPC or standalone + MAP) is the only real thing out there. Anything else are just leaky toys making ricey noises ( although there's nothing wrong with that, but don't expect to run them with GT45 Garrett at 25psi :D ).
 
have had the HKS and Greddy Type-S, and have found the HKS unit much better for my car and can seem to hold more boost, and it makes an oh so sweet sound, no idleing or stalling problems either
 
I don't know why some people stall in greddy type s... This is the first time I heard something like that. Hardest part for some other people I guess is to adjust the spring. once you fine tune that thing, you're be rolling great and turbo's more responsive.
 
My greddy type s makes a sound similar to a bottle rocket with a little ptshhh sound on the end. Kinda like a bzzzzzzzzzzzz chirp sound.

Is this thing set right?
 
I really like my 1g bov because it was on the car. I have my eye on go fast bits hybrid bov. Vented and recirculated. Sounds good to me.
 
HKS SSQV...It ran alright the first day i installed it (vented) then i put in that filter thing and ran bad ever since so i recirculated it and it seems to run alright now. I think i got a bad bov cause the inlet comes out somtimes.......eek!
 
I ran a type S up to 28 psi with no problems. I like the way it sounds also. I ran it on a 2g with it venting to atmosphere and had no problems also this is with the stock ECU and no VPC or AFC, it never stalled on me. We were making 368 whp at 28 psi on a 50 trim Garrett/Mits turbo 7cm housing with Td06 wheel on a stock 2g bottom end and stock 2g head. The Bov did not leak at all it performed like it should. That is what I am runnin now but I just wonder how much CFM it will flow. It might now be enough for the turbo we have on the car now.

I got a Blitz DD, it is great. Works well for lettin the other guys know what i got goin on....very loud. Also works great for scaring pedestrians nd little old ladies. Was worth the $ without a doubt, just based on the looks
