Turbo Air intake

I was wondering how to put an air intake into my 1992 TSi AWD. Someone said i have to put the boost salinoid somewhere else since it is supposidly mounted on the air canister. I need to know where to put it and preety much how to do it. Any help is appreciated.

Just tie strap it somewhere. It's ok if it moves around.

Ahh yeah. love the VFAQ's for cheap mods. I just finished the 3" turbo inlet pipe project, only $20! nice power and turbo spoolin sounds. Of course, once you get a MBC you won't need to worry about loosing the solenoid mount.

Im literally overloaded with intakes for 1Gs, have 2.5, 3, and big 4"ers for use in 1Gs with 2G MAFs. having a blow out on them to clear them all out. all mandrel bent Stainless steel. PM for details.
