Can I just throw in my pump and injectors?

My car is close to 100k miles.

I am doing the waterpump + timing belt.
I am buying a used ACT 2600 PP.
Once that is done my car is drivable.

Yippi! Noooooot(like Borat heh)

Anything else for 100k mile maintenance?

I have a 20G turbo and I want to use it.
I am going to buy a manual boost controller,
once I sell my electronic one.

So can I throw in my 255 Wal feul pump
with my 720 injectors?
Or do I need some tuning program for this setup?

Definitely a tuning program to control those injectors and preferably an afpr for the pump. MAFT or Dsmlink or SAFC ETC.

You definatly will need to have some type of fuel control. I would also suggest a FPR because if not your pump will over run your stock fuel pressure regulator and possibly cause issues. Keith.

I do have a FPR.
Will that be all set?

Sure you can install those injectors & pump without any control...... pause........ NOT! :D

(for anyone reading this who doesn't get the Borat reference, no you cannot do this)

Like others have mentiond you must have something to control these, if not you will dump a tonn of fuel & more then likely wash down the cylinder walls, defently not a good thing.

For the FPR, not it won't be set (well more then likely it won't be set correct). You need to get a pressure gauge to install on the FPR (which kind do you have?). To set it you bring the car up to normal operating temps, pull the vacuum hose of the fpr, plug the line & adjust the FPR till you sell 43-44 psi. Put the vacuum line back on & it will probably drop to around 37-38 psi depending on what vacuum your car produces.

If you plan on using 720cc injectors, for fuel control, I would recommend DSMLink rather than a piggyback controller (such as SAFC) - you may have a difficult time dialing-in those larger injectors with a piggyback. Should you decide to go with DSMLink, then I would consider even larger injectors - 1000cc or so. With DSMLink, you can tune them to run as smoothly as stock injectors. Plus, you will probably never have to upgrade injectors again.

Or you can drop your fuel pressure via your AFPR and bring the injector flow rate down below 680s if piggyback is all you can afford for now. Be careful though, Denso 720s are known to flow 750+, bringing down fuel pressure too much will change injector spray pattern affecting fuel atomization.
