SMIC + Slim line fan?

hey guys, I'm wondering if I should bother spending the $50 for the slimline to fit my SMIC? I figure I could get the manual on/off switch and run it in hot weather or when I am in stopped traffic. I mean, its gotta help with the heatsoak, right? Also, should I get the pusher or puller, I think the puller may have problems sticking out into the wheel well, but the pusher will block the surface when its not running. Not sure which one. Anyone do this mod....notice the difference?

I think a puller would be the best performance-wise if you can get it to fit.

it's a novel idea, been tried, failed

here is why

it would be fine up to say 50 mph
after that, it would slow down the air flow trying to go through the IC. and it will be forced to go around.

if you must cool it fast, get a water sprayer
