I just bought projectors for mines.
I also had the 8000k HID for my car.

The problem is I needed to re-wire and whatnot.
I took the OEM headlight's wire and threw away the new ones because they weren't compatible.
I finished rewiring and then I turned on my headlights.
The HID only works for a second when I give it a power source. It then shuts off instantly. I used small wires, was that the problem?

The wiring harness that comes in the stock headlights are not needed since your cheap Ebay conversion kit comes with its own harness/wiring. You are going to have to splice into your 12v wire going to the headlights. It's the part of the harness that you disconnect the harness that comes in the headlight FROM, it should should just be hanging there since it's not connected/plugged into anything at the moment. This was something I had to do when I had my Ebay conversion kit back in the day.

EDIT: Just re-read your post. What bulbs came with your Ebay projectors? Were they H3 bulbs? Did you throw away the original stock headlights harnesses or the ones that came with the Ebay projectors?

I figured it out bro.
There was no power going to my HID kit.
Once I started the car, my lights went on.
The only problem was putting in the HID lights to fit the new housing.
Im going to my friend's shop tomorrow to try to make a bigger hole
so I can fit the HID ballast.
I'll keep you updated.

P.S. your lights are sick
