These things are comming out like crazy. All these bolt on turbos for the 2G.

So does any body know anything about this one?

http://www.buschurracing.com/new_parts.html

"For you 2G guys not looking to make a hp killing, make a substantial improvement over your Tiny-T25 with the BR Big 28. Direct bolt on good for approx 350hp and quick spool up @ approx 2800-2900 rpm. Introductory sale price $810! Also available in a ported version for $875!! "

You would think that with more and more people out there coming out with their own versions of the same thing that some sort of price drop would occur. If everywhere have a bolt-on T28 I would i would buy from the supplier who has the lowest price. But again they get you on the porting, clipping, shipping, etc...

I'm just wondering if it's really FP's Big28, and BR is selling it under his name. Just a guess!

Somehow i doubt that, because the FP Big28 would be copywrited.

That is true but... RRE use to sell the old former T-28/28 not sure if they still do, and they got it from FP.

ahhh nobody beats the ported t28 from agp at $650 w/ gaskets. well at least at that time!

dont know what the prices are at right now ;)
I agree... that price is killer, but IMO I would rather go with a company that has been PROVEN over time. That's why I went with FP a year ago when I purchased my ported Big28. They have plenty of PROVEN times with there turbos over at DSM.ORG.

there is nothing to prove about a T28 series turbo.. be it the AGP 28 or Big 28.. there all nearly identical turbos.. same blade in the same compressor housing.. not much you can mess up..

I was wondering if this is the FP big28 as well.. Kinna figured Buschur to sell another companies products on their website for more $$.

I think BR is gonna drop their price in the near future du to lack of sales. They should've have had the introductory price between 650 and 750 to see if their name makes a difference which it probably won't. But then again, they don't offer a core exchange.

I agree! I don't want this to turn into another which is better ordeal. I think they are both the same turbo actually IMO. I was just stating that FP has a lot of proven turbos over at the DSM times list, and that I personally try to go with a company that's been proven over time whether it be the FP Big28, FP green, or even the FP 30 when ever it comes out. But... judgeing by your dyno #'s with the AGP L2R you can definately tell AGP is for real!
