univeral BOV flange?

i have this uicp that is flanged for "univeral" BOVs. after i googled, it came back saying it was designed specifically for A'PEXi Twin Chamber Blow Off Valves or any Blitz blow off valves from past to present.

will i be able to use ANY brand BOV as long as it's Universal? in other words, are there different types of "universal" flanges? i notice greddy makes a universal flanged Type-S...just wanted to be sure it will work.

If thats the flange, you will just weld a small section of pipe to it, then to your uicp. It can be used on any vehicle is probly what they mean.

yea when they say universal it means its the flange for this specific BOV but its universal in a sense that you can have it installed on any car.

well, i already have that flange welded to my uicp. that is what is already there. my ques is can i use a greddy type-s UNIVERSAL bov without having to change to a greddy flange?

you might. you first stated that the flange is for apex'i bovs. so it is intended for those BOVs only. If the mounting holes match up with the greddy; then again it MIGHT work. if not, then no, you will have to weld a new flange on, or see if they have an apexi' to greddy adapter flange, but im sure they dont seeing as the apexi bovs are not very popular, anywhere.

I have the " UNIVERSAL " version of the apex'i BOV, not the RX7 or the eclipse specific model. they also make a apex'i specific flange just like how hks has their own, or like the 1g dsm flange is their own.

see the flange pic'd above? that is what i have already. does anyone have a UNIVERSAL greddy bov that knows what their flange looks like? does it look similar to mine? ive seen the blitz universal BOV and that is the same as what i have.
