1995 Gsx Fuel Cut

My best friend has a 95 gsx w/ a injen intake, apex dunk, apex gt spec downpipe, fp ported big t28, greddy bfmic, super afc, turbo xs hp mbc (at 15psi), greddy type s and a holley 255lph pump. The problem is fuel cut. We just put on the downpipe night before last and sure enough it started cutting. We turned the boost down from 19psi to 15 psi still cuts. The thing I don't understand is by the super afc it's only flowing 2000 or so kharmen at 15psi. A 2g mas air sensor should'nt cut till it flows 2200 kharmen right? Either way what do we need to do to eliminate the cut we have some 5 liters to terminate and the cars running strong right up untill cut.

If it's a 95 it probably has an eprom ECU I'd say your best bet would be to get a reprogrammed one from them that eliminates fuel cut for a long term solution. As for a short term fix the only thing I could suggest is turning down the boost some more (which would suck a$s to do). Don't know if this post will help you or not, but I'm sure it will get this thread on the right track.

Someone has to state the obvious before someone comes up with something in depth...

short term fix could be letting in more unmetered air via taking out some honeycombs and using the s-afc to richen things back up...shouldn't the afc allow you to trick the ecu into thinking the mas is flowing less air? I haven't used one yet, but I understood from others that avoiding fuel cut was one of the main uses of it.
