Austin,
If I bought the ( I drive a '98 GSX ) CIP-2gC (the 3" with MAS and BOV return) which optional tubing do I really need to order? and should I get the conical filter from them, or find it someplace cheaper? Just trying to make sure I dont miss anything in my order

Sorry was on wrong name, and had a misprint im in a '97GSX, haha and Dyno GT is my brothers BMX Bike LOL. Okay but anyways car is bonestock with 70k on the odo. I'm going 3inches because I am still unsure of what Turbo I will be choosing later, so why not just get the 3inch just in case? But before I go and give the credit card number away, wanna make sure im getting all the right parts

Best to contact the vendor. When someone calls us for advice, we usually are able to help them more than if they ask others that to order.

Now now Alex, don't go discouraging folks from asking for advice from people not looking to make money off them. 8)

Noobsta - if you are stock, you should not be buying an intake first up. Go read the 2G upgrade guide that you will find linked off the front page of this site. Stuff is listed there in order for a sensible reason, and you'll realise more useful power gains for your money by sticking fairly closely to it.

personally.. i think thats a good choice.. the 3" inlet pipe with bov return tube.. and no other return lines to the inlet pipe.. that cost more to add from wat i read from their site and you will prob. end up not using them in the future.. they have a faq on their site about it.. i know one is the hose that runs from the valve cover.. and the others i forget.. sorry.. too lazy to look up.. but you can easily plug those or just have it vented running down to the bottom of the car.. or get a catch can..

i dont think its a problem he is going with 3" right away.. thers no problem in that.. if he decides to get a bigger turbo upgrade in the future he won't have to spend more money getting another inlet pipe of bigger diameter..

How is intake a bad first upgrade??? The Tuning guide puts it at either #1 or #2, getting a 3" isnt going to hurt me at all, so why not get it to save money in the future? Okay so then I really doesnt need those extra hoses, BOV return tube is all that is nesscesary?

Sorry, my bad for misreading the upgrade guide (not to mention disagreeing with it).

I'd personally do the filter and the dump tube mod, but leave buying a new pipe until you'd done a bunch of other stuff just because up front it's not the worst of your problems. However, if you're planning on working through a serious set of mods then it's definitely worth doing, so ignore what I said. 8)

To answer your other question about what return lines etc. to have put on it; ask yourself whether you're ready to do all the other mods required to cap those lines off elsewhere at the same time. If not, get the intake pipe with fittings for them all, and then as you work through your mods, just cap the pipes (you can get caps of various sizes at most auto parts stores).

As for the filter; shop around, see what you can get locally. I don't think there's anything magic about the Dejon filter (except that you know it'll fit).

Read the FAQ on Dejon's site. It answers ALL your questions.

Sound's like the 3" intake with the BOV tube and maybe the crankcase vent nipple is the way to go for T25 guys who might get a big turbo in the future. I'm going to ask him if the 3.5" intake would work on a T25, too.

I don't like to buy things twice. That's why I'm putting a Supra pump on a T28 car. :D

The 3" won't fit on your t-25, nor a big 16g or t-28. I think it only fits 20g and bigger they said. I was going to buy that but they told me it won't fit. You have to get the 2.5. You don't need the BOV return line if your venting. But it's a good idea to get because more of the time when you vent, it makes your can run bad. So yoy may get a BOV that vents into the intake. Like a greddy type-s.

This came strait from the Dejontool website!! (Yes you can use the 3" with a t25/t28)

"Q: I have a T25 or 14b or 16g now but I plan to buy a BIG turbo soon. Can I buy a full 3" intake pipe now (instead of a 2 1/2") so I don't have to buy again later?

A: Not for the 14b and 16g because the wastegate actuator's mounting bracket interferes with the 3" coupling, but yes, will work on the T25. "

Hope that helps!
