help!!!!!! my car won't sart

ok i just got to germany and got my car. i put a brand new red top optima battery in and i checked the fuel and the rail is getting fuel but a buddy of mine told me that the spark isn't strong enough. the car won't start at all. it tries to trun over but doesn't. what else could i check?? could it be the coil?? if so how do i check them? what could be wrong?

a car needs 4 things to run compression, fuel, air (intake), and spark. i guess if you want to you can add in a non clogged exhaust but i think thats pretty obvious. check the plugs, wires, and coil first via a haynes manual or whatever they have over there in germany. if that doesn't solve your problem, its time to take a look at fuel pressure. then if that doesn't work check your compression with a compression tester. this is just a good way to start diagnosing a no start from not being in front of the car or having more detailed information.
