heres the story... im using dsmlink to tune. the car was running perfect until i came back from the track. i tried to richen up my a/f ratio but it just keeps running lean. my wideband keeps reading from 12.: up to 13:1 . so im suspecting a fuel delivery problem. i replaced my 255 fuel pump and rewired it., i put on a new fuel filter. i swapped in new injectors borrowed from a friend and swapped on another fuel rail with fpr. i also checked for fuel leaks and found nothing. i reinstalled my wideband which only has about 1k miles on it. i also swapped on another cas and put in new plugs today. the car still runs lean but my old plugs show a rich condition. ive been fighting this problem for a month now and i cant find a solution. anyhelp is appreciated..

i bought the wideband about a month ago. it was working perfect before. yes the car was fully warmed up.

there are no pre-sensor leaks. i was told that the sensor is to close to the turbo. its where the stock o2 sensor would go. i understand it would shorten the life of the sensor but i only had it for a month. its a plx 250 btw. i had one of these in my old talon for about a year in the same location and never had a problem with it.

Check your fuel pressure, it made a huge difference for me when I went from a base pressure of 37 psi to 43 psi.

fuel pressure is 44 psi at idle. i know this high for a 1g but im still running stock fpr. but i dont believe the car is running lean anymore. im blowing out black smoke under boost and my estimated air fuel ratio is reading rich also. im going to pick up a replacement wideband o2 sensor next week to be sure.

I have seen wideband sensors go bad for no reason before. So i would try to get a different sensor or try a narrow band stocker and check the volts.

I would also relocate the wideband sensor further downstream to prevent it from being burned out quickly.

1. Not only it's recomended to mount the sensor at leat 24" from the turbo, running too rich all the time can also facilitate the death of a sensor.

2. You're experiencing fpr overrun, with a setup like yours, why would you skip out on something as important as an AFPR?

3. I recommend a boost leak test.
