BOV Problems

Yesterday I installed my Dejon Tool Upper I/C pipes, well pipe, I didn't end up getting the S pipe in, but the L is in there. So I also have the Greddy Type-S BOV connected to the pipe. Now, I tested out the car today and when I get to about 4000 rpm the car sort of stalls, it just stops accelerating and the rpms drop to near idle. When I connected the BOV, I connected the line that came off the old BOV to the top connector on the Type-S, then I didn't connect anything to the bottom connector on the BOV. I have no idea where I'm supposed to connect it to. But I checked everything today and all the clamps seem tight and everything seems ok, but it just doesn't feel like the turbo is kicking in much and ofcourse the stalling like problem. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Have you tried adjusting the bov yet? Are you venting the bov? The other port on the bov is used in very high boost situations and not really needed for a street car unless compressor surge is what your after

check your ic pipes. Do a intake pressure test as described on vfaq.com and listen for leaks. Other than that, you have to adjust the bov. I don't recall mine doing that when I adjusted it

Yep, check your pipes make sure all the clamps are tight. I just installed my Dejontool UICP and TurboXs Bov and it works like a champ. Good luck. And when you get it all hooked-up watchout for boost creep!
