i honestly dont feel like paying 100$+ for an intake if i can just make one myself. Ive been looking and there are only instructions and stuff for the 4g63. Now i could do all the measurements and shit myself, but i really really dont trust my craftsmanship. if anyone knows where there is a write up or something for a CAI or ram air for N/Ts. or maybe if someone has a really good picture of an aftermarket one i suppose...

I know how you feel. Try building a Starion/Conquest or a 3G eclipse (been there and done that), every part made for those cars is outrageous in price because only a handful of people make parts for them so they can ask what they want.

Good luck with the intake though. You could probably go the same route that most of us 4G63 guys go about our intercooler piping. Just buy the bends, couplers and clamps that you need and make one (saves a ton of money)

crap... i put this in the wroooong forum. sorry turbo dudes.:thumb:

Double posting, like you did here, will usually get your threads locked. I advise you not to do this. Instead, you should have PMed a moderator that is currently online and kindly asked him to move your thread to the appropriate section. It's as simple as that.

A intake is just pipe. Buy a cheap on off ebay. Should be about 30 bucks with a filter.

+1

You can get all the piping you want for dirt cheap on ebay. If you want it to look nice get some silicone couplers. If it doesn't matter just grab some home depot rubber.
