I was thinking of getting a 95-97 Eclipse non-turbo and adding a turbo and other parts to it from a stock Eclipse turbo car. I have alot of experience with motors so the labor doesnt bother me. What parts would I need if I happened to do this? I know it may seem like the more logical choice to just buy the Eclipse turbo but i think the project would be fun and I would save on insurance with the "non turbo" car.

the 2g turbo's have a 4g63, and the 2g nt's have a 420A two completely different engines. It won't work and will be more effort than its worth. Just get one with a turbo already in it.

if you're set on turbo'ing a 2g non turbo, i would look into the Star or Hahn turbo kits.....

If you put a turbo into a "non turbo" car, it becomes a "turbo car", and not telling your insurance company will probably violate the terms of your policy.

I would just save up and buy a 6 bolt motor and start from there.

Just make sure you get a dsm that was turbo in the first place. If you wanna go the NT to turbo route get a 1g. Since they use the 4g63's in the NT's.

All I know is the parts list is a mile long!!!
