Lower O-Rings needed for new injector install?

Someone on here told me I need to get new lower injector o-rings (insulators) when I go to install me new injectors.. I don't seem to see them on any sites for sale and am wondering if they are really needed? The FIC injectors came with upper o-rings, like most new injectors should

Lowers are a must . Major boost leak spot . Just take injector to auto parts store and check the fit of new seal while you are there .

Not even close. Uppers are a seal that go around the injector. Lowers are placed in the head. Slowboy sells the lowers here.

Aren't those factory replacements ? I thought , , Aftermarket injectors used different sizes .

I'm pretty sure all lower seals are the same size, no matter what size the injectors are. I have stock lower's in with my denso 720's with no leaks, and no problems.

The lower seals that came with my FIC 650's went bad so I replaced them with some stockers from the dealer and they seal just fine.

That is a perfect example of people taking the cheap way out and wondering why they get boost leaks after a while. Do it once, do it right.

Call RoadRace they should sell lower seals...probably a damnsight more expensive than SBR though.

Any Dealership can get you the lower seals...there maybe 2 bucks a piece.

Sorry for getting a little off topic, but why would you write that? I think that's great idea. Especially if he is in a pinch and your right down the street from a Home Depot. Good advice guys I will be looking into those for myself. Peace.
