port and polishing head...

hey guys i blew a head gasket, so i was thinking i should just bore out my head while im at it... a nice port and polish wouldnt do anyone harm, but i was just wondering if you guys know of anywhere around southern cali that does a decent job on porting both the exhaust side and the intake side, i dont want anything too extreme, possibly just a gasket match to the port size, let me know if you guys know of anywhere that does a pretty solid job - is the ending product worth the cost of it ? how much power am i looking to gain with this... ? 12.2 @112 - will this cut me in the 11s ? thanks

I'm not sure where they are located in cali but what about road race engineering?

road race would have been awesome, they are just 25 miles away from me, but unfortunatly the guy that does their porting is no longer with road race, so that didnt quite work out as planned... any other machine shop that can do porting ?
