couple of questions about a stocker...

i have a completely stock 90 tsi awd, and i heard that they came with a stock bov....ummm what is is the technical name fo rit so i can check and see if it is leaking or not, and is there one on there???? and there is a like plug thing going into my downpipe and it has a wire going over the heat shield on top of the manifold...what is that??? thx

all turbo cars have a BOV
blow off valve, by pass valve, whatever you want to call em

bov is one that vents to the atmosphere. ours is technically a cbv "compressor bypass valve" everyone just calls it a bov. also the 'plug' is your front 02 sensor, a necessary item.

oh, the cbv's are ones that recirculate into the system.
