1G O2 elim DP on a 2G

I order an O2 elim DP and when it came It was for a 1G the place I ordered it from said it should fit anyway. It this true? should I even bother pulling everything off?

i wouldnt think itd be the same becuase the o2 housing on a 1g and 2g are different arent they? the exhausts are different and the turbos are different so Id assume the o2 housings are different as well.. I could be wrong though

1G uses 2G O2 housing as an bolt-on upgrade.

Well I wil tell you the one that was sent to me by accident would fit but it was too short.
