Ok guys, here's the thing, I have just purchased a new Turbochargers Big T28 Killer and am about to install it. However, I have also just talked to a personal friend and experienced mechanic. From what he told me, he said that it is a bad idea to install the turbo onto my engine because he said that I could blow my engine due to excessive pressure or pressure that is more than the engine was built for. I took his comment into consideration and now I am unsure if I really want to go through with the new turbo install. I am having Mike from Diamond Star Specialties do the install for me also. I have already gone through an engine 2 months ago due to a main rod bearing failure and I don't want to experience that again. Any advice or comments would really help, thanks.
excessive but just use a boost controller and watch what your doing.
mechaninc either. I seriously doubt you will have any probs with that swap. and it's not a bb turbo.....IMO, the T28 is a very effective way to increase hp if you're not looking into spending big $$$$
