I'm looking for a 3' SS Downpipe that eliminates the cat. I am going to use it with my 3' SS ATR Exhaust. Does anyone know who makes one? Thanks in advance.

I know RRE has their "long" downpipe that eliminates the cat. I just used my ATR downpipe & installed a dynomax bullet muffler in place of the cat w/ a thermal catback.

hmmm...a muffler in place of the cat. that's an idea. is it noticeably (sp?) quieter? Ive always wondered how difficult it would be to run two mufflers and if it would be worth it as long as they flowed well.

Apex'i makesone but its 2.5 inch untill the flex.. then 3"

I'd would love to pick that up, but I already have a nice polished o2 housing with a dump from Victory Performance

DSM Performance has an 3" O2 Eliminator DP that gets rid of the cat also.

I chose the RNR peice which, in my opinion, was the best deal. If you speak to Ryan I am sure he could make you a downpipe that would bolt to your VP o2 housing and eliminate the cat.

What you do is, you buy a high flow cat (around 3"), used if you can. Gut the thing out and put a test pipe in it (or mold the test pipe to look like a cat) so if a cop ever looks at it you don't get a ticket for no cat.

My RSR eliminates the cat. The RRE one is a copy of the RSR downpipe if I am not mistaken. The piece is full stainless and 3 inch internal diameter. Very nice piece. Very hard to come by though.

the bullit muffler as a "resinator" is a good idea my Galant had a resinator stock then I made my own o2 elimnator exaust 3" with the bullit muffler at the end, it only had 4 bends, O2(90) oil pan(90) diff (45) straighen out the back(45) It was loud but sounded really nice. I plan on making exaust, turbo manifolds, intake manifolds, etc, once I make prototypes and test them. Or you can weld the heat sheald for the cat around the pipe where the cat would be, Then use a baffled muffler.
Good Luck
