i plan on running the L2R turbo on my 1g. What core should i go with? the race or the street? thanx

We've had several customers that have had overheating issues after installing the street core. Since you live in Miami... Another reason that I'd recomend the race core is due to the greater amount of airflow to the radiator than the street core. The Race core area is 4" wider than the street core & this seems to make a noticable difference in the amount of air that the radiator sees. The street core flows 730 cfm @ 1.5 psi pressure drop & the race core flows 790 cfm w/ 1.5 psi pressure drop (lower flow will = less drop & higher flow will = more drop). But the race core has 104 sq in more frontal area than the street core. Given if the front fascia opening isn't enlarged... then you'll only see about a 1/3 of that additional front area. I think the L2R would benefit greatly from the additional flow & better cooling from the race core.
