I just finished putting in my motor and i have a problem. When i start the car it shakes real bad, runs for about 2 seconds then stalls. my vaccum is only about 10. Also, my air/fuel gauge says im running super lean. what should i try to do? im not sure if my valves are bent, or if its something else. If i wasnt getting enough fuel, that wouldnt have anythign to do with the low vaccum right?

Do a compression test that will tell you if the valves are bent, check your spark plugs, look things over maybe you missed something.

ill do a compression test tomorrow, plugs are fine, i just put new ones in. why would i have such a low vacuum pressure, and also why would my gauge say im running so lean?

this is such a vague problem you described i dont think anyone can help you except for pointing in the dark. Vacuum is low when the rpms are low and the engine is mirfiring or hesitating as you describe. How do you knwo its running lean if you start it and it only runs a few seconds as it takes the o2 sensors a few minutes to warm up before it will read accuratly. start troubleshooting
