I have a TurboXs Manual Boost controller just the regular style one in my car... and every here and there ill see boost spike when shifting. like ill drop the clutch into the next gear and itll goto like 18 psi when i have it set for 15 has anyone else had this prob even tho boost controllers like that arnt supposed to spike like bleeders

How do you have it hooked up-- do you have it teed off the BOV line or teed between the turbo compressor outlet and wastegate? Spike seems to be more common when the MBC is teed off the BOV line since the hose has to be significantly longer. The goal is to make the hoses as short as possible to minimize spiking. That's why I like hooking up the MBC between the compressor housing and wastegate.

I have the same MBC and mine spikes too, only for a second though, then its drops back down to 15 or 16. I asked someone about it, and he said not to worry about it, its just something to do with the wastegate not closing soon enough or something, i forget what he said, but its fine.
