3" intake, charcoal canister?

i am about to get a 3" dejon tool intake and i have all emissions stuff in my car and don't want to take them out ever probably. but i need to know if any rediness tests or cel will come on if i block the charcoal canister line to the intake? i want to get one tonight so any help would be appreciated

nope

as long as you have your sensors hooked up meaning the harnesses still attached you can junk the vaccum lines and charcoal canister.

Yep no charcoal canister vacuum lines hookeup anywhere and still passes emissions.

what exactly does the charcoal canister do? with my bigger intake and custom ic piping, its a b!itch to put that vac. line back on...

dont put the hose back on.

the canister is used to clean up dirty air ie clean gasoline fumes or burnt oil fumes

I used to live in Jacksonville and we didnt have emissions in the county so why are you worried about it since you live just 45min away in wilmington? When are the emissions laws gonna start?

the laws begin now but they are rolling over within the nex couple years to all counties. the reasons i am concerend- 1, my dad works for epa and he wants me to keep it legal, and 2 my car is registered in raleigh at my dad's house

they have an obII hookup now that they do testing on your car through to make sure you are not just turning the cel light off or reseting it. they check about the car's readines tests

well you know what I am concidetring trying to keep my car legal. i do have a hook up on insoection stickers just in case tho.

Im looking for a DP that has a flange for an external that dumps back into the exhaust and everything
