I'm looking for a fan to cool my tranny cooler during those long idle periods or during a hard run, it will be running 24/7 when the car is on. Anyone have the dimensions of the fan? I got 12"x5" but that was ghetto measuring with it in the car and all the crap in the way. For those of you who have put fans on the stock cooler, does anyone know where I can find the perfect fan for it? It looks like the best option is a pull fan.

Thanks guys.

I have an aftermarket tranny cooler on the driver's side where the SMIC used to be and I went ahead and installed a 6.5 inch puller fan made by spal. It was $48 and I have it relayed to come on with the radiator fan. Works pretty good. Its 4588 from IPT list.

Yeah but I'm looking to keep the stock cooler and use an after market fan.

I believe that the smallest fan is 6.5 inch, according to the guys that I purchased it from. He showed me a list of sizes that Spal makes and 6.5 was the smallest. Maybe you can try other manufacturers. I'm pretty sure you can make the 6.5 work though.

After talking to one of the smarter guys locally here, he's convensed me to go with a bigger cooler and just put it in front of the radiator with a puller fan behind it. I've search this forum for good hour but anyone know how many btu's the stock cooler can handle vs a 11x11x1.5 B&M cooler? Also anyone have any idea of the size of the fittings on the connections it needs?
