I went out to check my safc and i had one on my 1g before...I have a big16g turbo, maft, 255, 660's, exhaust, and the max hz are only 950 or so...my 1g used to be around 2500 on a 14b...wats the deal...this is on 18 psi btw.....WTF

ok leteme try again....i have a 99 gsx with a big16g @ 18psi, 255f/p, 3" exhaust, mbc, 660 injectors, maf translator...i just installed an safc 2 and when i went to go drive around the hz reading read a max of about 950..i used to own a 1g with an safc2 and the max hz reading read about 2500 hz...why is the one on my 2g reading so low??? everything is installed correctly

I would check your MAF. Take it apart and look at the honeycombs see if there damaged. thats extremely low HZ. I wouldnt worry about hz tho if you can get a pocketlogger of somesort just see how much airflow your making. the amount of hz your saying is about equal to 10lb/min i believe which is not much at all.. does the car feel like its pulling? have you boost leak tested the car? a big 16g @ 18psi would be somewhere around 28-30lb/min i believe which i would think would be around 2800-3000hz. I dont know the proper conversion from hz to airflow tho so if im giving incorrect info i apologize.
