Ok heres my problem...i'm trying to swap to a GT manifold from my stock 2g manifold.

i can get every nut, bolt and stud except for the bottom center one...unfortunately the angle that my wrench grabs this nut has caused me to slightly strip it...at least from that angle...although I don't really see any other way of tackling this nut...and i can't get any vice grips into that 1 1/2 inch hole to actually fix the issue.

I need to know how to access this nut..is it possible to get it from the bottom of the car? should I need to remove my turbo and down pipe or what?

thanks for any help relating

peace

did you try using sockets at first? I dunno if its a 12 or a 10, but if its a 10, try using a 3/8 inch socket and see if that will fit over it, since 3/8s is just a tad bit smaller and tends to work on stripped 10mm bolts for me.

Mac has a new kind of socket out that they say works on bolts that are rounded 70% off. I have used one and it works pretty good.

Try just taking the compressor housing off of the turbo and see if you can get to it easier.
