Hey everyone hows it going? Its been a long time since ive been on these boards after i sold my GST/6 bolt etc..Onto the 300ZX TT's. Anyways im up here tryin to help a friend out with his 97 GST. Ive lost lots of knowledge of DSM's and got a few questions on his tuning situation that hes having problems with....
His mod's consist of: 6 bolt swap w/ 2g head, 1g CAS, 9.1 wiseco piston, eagle H beam rods, Evo 3 16g, Full turbo back N1, 680CC injectors, 255 LPH fuel pump, FMIC w/2.5 SS pips, Greddy Type S BOV, SAFC-II, AVCR, Fidanza flywheel, ACT Stage 2 clutch, 97 ECU
He is having problems tuning with the 680cc's and is thinking of going out and gettin a Eprom ECU and DSM link. I remember a lot of people using keydiver chips i believe to compensate for bigger injectors. I also thought that you needed an Eprom ECU in order to run a keydiver chip, am i wrong? Are you able to get your non eprom ECU's socketed to be able to run something like a keydiver chip, or does he need to purchase a 95 ECU? Also is there any other reasonable ways for compensating for these bigger injectors? Much thanks to everyone in advance.
