Help with exhaust!!!!!!!!!

alright first off i would like to ask is there a site where i can hear different exhaust on GST/TSi cars.

and out of these which would be the best performance and sound good and not ricey (YUCK)

not too sure about the holley exhaust, but the rest are good one's

the holley thunder muff is used on the civics in the fast and the furious in the beginning when thy take over the truck.

As long as you have at leist a 2.5" mandrel exhaust and it is actually some sort of name brand, it will sound fine on a turbo car....

That is correct. You can even have local muffler shop piping and a decent muffler and have good sound too.

That's what I did, I got a 3" magnaflow straight-through mufffler and it sounds amazing~! I love it

pretty much any exhaust you get will sound good, the "ricey" sound you hear is the pulse in the exhaust from the cylinders, because exhaust must go through the turbo, it comes out as a smooth resonant tone

I've always like the magnaflows...on both import and domestic; N/A to turbo they tend to have a nice deep tone and a nice price tag as well.

I love my Thermal R&D. Sounds quite nice. Tip is a bit too big for my liking...but the sound makes that thought go away.

N1 is quiet and gives good performance. RSR is saught after...

i seriously suggest getting the thermal 3", thats what i got and you can tell a huge difference in power.

dude i got a 3" mandrel bent cat back with a dynamax 2.5" cat and magnaflow (very inexpensive) exhaust (3" in and 4") out and it sounds awesome real low and very throaty. my buddy has a dodge ram with a full 3" cat back and complimented mine!!!

oh yeah and it only cost me $620 for everything and that includes $100 disposal fee old exhaust.

The RSR sounds really nice. The reason it is sought after is because they are not imported into the US anymore.

HOWEVER!!!

www.TurboImport.com somehow got ahold of some and they are on sale. I bought my Downpipe and Cat-Back from them. They have great customer service, and the prices are as cheap as you will see on a Cat-Back and Downpipe..

Go with a 3 in Thermal, I have one and it has a veryy deep throaty sound. Very nice. The pipes are about as straight of a shot off the turbo as your going to get.. improved spool time too.

my friend used to have some sort of HKS exhaust on his 3000 GT and he decided to disconnect the mufflers and run a straight thru pipe from the turbos. it sounds supper nice, my point, just run straight pipe it won't be too loud and it'll sound nice

I also have a Themal 3'' and love it! Not like really raspy like non turbo cars, but nice and deep. My parents say they can hear me comin like 1/2 mile away but i also live in the country 2 miles from anybody else.
