ok i was thinking og buying an Evo exhaust manifold, but i was goin to buy it non ported and port it my self! if i was to port it do i only port the end were it connects to the turbo? or do they also port the were the runners connect to the head? please help

i ported my exaust manifold( at the collector), turbo exaust housing, and 02 housing.... and my brother was on the side of the road down on a local street we cruise on and he said that he could hear my turbo before he actually saw me!!! and YES>>> porting makes a big difference... especially top end. by the way... i am only running a 14b turbo, soo it's not like i ahve a rediclous turbo on it to make it louder.

kinda gives you a idea of how loud it is. Hope it helped

So how much are you supposed to port? How do you know when you have ported to much and what did you use to port these things?
