Pull the MPI fuse and crank the engine over a few times to prime the turbo with oil after the install is complete. Then replace the fuse and start the car, let it idle till it warms up and go have fun with your 14b.

get all bolts from mitusbishi and ditch the stud, for ease of install, and remember to ANTI-SEIZE all the bolts so you can get them off when you need to pull the turbo in the future.

Then, do what turfnnsurf said

just like TURFNSURF said...pull the MPI fuse. Also, be sure to line that sucker up correctly so you dont have any issues with your j pipe lining up with the rest of your piping. It sucks to have to losen that thing while all lines are connected to make a .25" turn. LOL

thanks for the help guys. now all i have to do is find out were the mpi fuse is.

You can also unplug all 4 of your spark plug wires from your spark plugs, crank it over for a couple seconds, let it rest a couple seconds, crank it for a couple seconds, then plug your spark plug wires back into the spark plugs and then crank it over and it should start.

If you have a Chiltons or a CAPS software, it should tell you which one is the MPI fuse.

The MPI fuse is so easily located & found. It's right next to the positive terminal connected to the battery. There's a box of fuses there and on top of the fuse box you'll see MPI printed on it. Pull it and crank the engine. You don't want to pull any of the spark plug wires/cas or something else. That's stupid, you'll be flooding the engine with unnesessary fuel and washing down your rings. Pull the MPI fuse it's way easier than the other options and be done with it.
