Just got my Walbro 255 FP, do i need a FPR? or Bigger injectors yet?

yea so i just got a 255lph walbro fp for my birthday, i was wondering if i desperatly need a Fuel pressure regulator, cause i dont have one, also i have stock injectors, do i really need to upgrade these 2 parts right away?, im still only going to be pusing 16-17psi, since im on a SMIC, ...

i have a 255 on my car and you def. need an AFPR. i recomend Aeromotive, it was easy to install and set pressure. i dont think you need injectors, at least that is what i have been told, since you are only running 16- 17 psi. be sure to set your base fuel pressure to 38 psi with the vac. hose off of the AFPR also.

The DSMTuners FAQ says you do need an AFPR. I'm using the Import Evolution Aeromotive kit... install was a breeze.

Logging your injector duty cycles will tell you whether you need bigger injectors or not. Anything over 85% or so isn't good for the stock injectors.

Yes, get an afpr. It's on here about 2395293858 times, that YES you need an afpr with a 255. You will overrun your stock fpr.

And yes, you need a AFPR w/ a 255. Its been covered 1,000,000,000 times.
