simply enough, on my 94 im looking at a evo 3 o2 housing with an external dump, but it seems kind of short, so im wondering if it may be bad the exhaust gasses hitting whatever may be in the way. most importantly would it bolt up with a 2.5" dp? and if so buy or no buy?

I think the guy is full of sh**.

He says it's brand new, never been on a car. I've never seen a brand new o2 housing painted black with rust all over it.

I don't think it's an evo 3 either.

well that makes my decision a little easier...i was a little worried with it, my friends custom ported 2g o2 looks a lot cleaner all together.

Your alternator would have a very short life with that o2 housing.
Not true i run that style 02 housing (punishment racing 02 dump) on my car for a year with no alternator problems...it melted the plastic shroud for the radiator tho...not a biggie.
