does it effect gas millage poorly, better, or none at all? Just curious, assume I drive like I did before the exhaust so all things being held constant, does the swap between stock and aftermarket change anything related to millage.

You may see a gain in MPG. An engine is basically an air pump. The more air in and out, the more efficient it is, and the better miles/gallon you will get. I get 28mpg on the highway at 80mph in my fairly modified Talon.

City mileage might go down because of the increase in hp and spool, but on the highway im getting WAY better mileage than before exhaust. And honestly my city mpg hasn't dropped much if any at all.

werd, I got the r&D thermal cat back on there, it's got a huge tip but I like the way it looks. Anyways I felt like my gauge was like slowly creeping down and I didn't feel like I was driving much, but it could just be that I was paranoid, at my next fill up I'll mark the millage and see what it's at, hopefully i either a.)increase mpg, or B) stay the same.

peace guys.

Generally exhaust work increases mileage, but... Earlier spool up and any boost creap or spiking might increase fuel consumption. Unless you have a big problem with those, your mileage should increase.

I saw a increase of about 1-2 mpg on hwy.
I have a high flow cat and a turbo back exhaust.

I'm thinking of putting a extra resonator in there somewhere to bring the noise down a little.
