Any 1Gs experiencing a T28 Killer

I'm just wondering if there is any 1st Gens that have experience with the T28 Killer, i just want to know if it is a good turbo for my car, i'm going to be getting a larger injector setup, and i'll be rebuilding my motor but only slightly, just using the stock 1g rod and some EVO 3 pistons, later on i'll be doing up my head. so if you have any experiece or advice on this turbo it'd be much appreciated.

The T28 variants are not very popular with the 1gs because they will not just bolt up like a 16g, 20g etc.... Infact they would be much more expensive of a venture then alot of the larger options. Though, you may find someone.

From what I understand, if you are talking about the 28 Killer from Turbochargers.com, that is basically a big 16g wheel in a set up that can be directly bolted on to a 2g. If that is what you are interested in, since you have a 1g, just get a regular mitsu big 16g. That is a direct bolt on for 1Gs.

Now if you are talking about the Forcedperformance big28 or the AGP t-28, those are direct bolt ons for the 2g's. They look exactly like the stock t-25 in the 2g. I have heard of people with 1g's putting a t28 turbo on and the people I have seen generally like them. I don't know what bolting one on to a 1g would involve.

Bringing this one back from the dead. I read the topic and wanted to know who out there has actually put a T28 on a 1g and what they thought of it.

I think it would be a :waste: of money. 16Gs are so cheap now and bolt right up to a 1g that I don't know why you would go any other route, unless your looking for real big power.
